As Delhi is one of the important states of India with constant development and shelter or a workplace for many people, the government is working constantly to make it a better place. Below are some government policies for the welfare of the people staying or starting businesses in the state.
SME and MSME
To promote SME and MSME in Delhi for better economic growth and to promote opportunities, there are different MSME-related policies. The government provides subsidies for starting or scaling businesses. In addition, there are also incentives to set up the latest technology adoption, research and development centres, and the adoption of renewable energy. The programs are different, supporting young people, startups, entrepreneurs, SC/ST, women, and creative ideas needing funds. These subsidies and schemes provide financial support to SMEs (small and medium enterprises) and MSMEs (micro, small, and medium enterprises) with collateral-free loans, credit guarantee schemes, and subsidies with lower interest rates.
